The Wilding investigates constructs of wildness in complex relationship with human-built environments and urban landscapes. Conceptions of wildness and wilderness have long served as reason for humans to alternately fetishize, objectify, exploit, and conserve a variety of life forms and environments. In this group exhibition, five artists reimagine the wild as something intimately connected to humanity.
