The Collector I: Hearts and The Collector II: Teeth were painted as part of the Monstrosity series in 2019. The series explored aspects of the horror genre, especially in its early modern form as depicted in Mary Shelley’s seminal novel Frankenstein. The Collector I: Hearts and The Collector II: Teeth represent stylized versions of objects that an imagined early surgeon/sorcerer might treasure and place in a cabinet of curiosities.

The pieces may be purchased together or separately, framed or unframed. If framed, artwork is raised and floated against a white mat behind plexiglass in a museum-quality white wood frame (10.75 x 8.75 inches each).
